We departed Seattle around 10:30 am, avoiding rush hour traffic.
Seattle, Washington
Traffic was moving well.
Road to the Coast. A very nice day.
A sign just for us! How nice! Grooved pavement.
Road Work!
That’s a garbage bag he’s holding.
We know Bud!
Mick is Down Again!
Maybe I’m glad I don’t have a center stand.
Mick has bruised ribs from hitting the ground yesterday and he could not get it all the way up on the center stand.
When the bike rolled forward off the stand, he was only holding the left handlebar and the lower grab bar - no leverage to keep it from falling to the right.
More Duct Tape, Please
Another test drive . . .
. . . It’s time to ride.
The coast line
When we arrived at Astoria , we crossed two long bridges.
No. This guy is not jumping!
They are painting the bridge structure.
This is the easy job . . .
. . . this guy has the hard job!
The end of the bridge
It looks like Mick’s tire is just about done. It looks like the steel cord is just about to peek through in the center.
We decided to cut our coast line trip short and cut across to Interstate 5 via Hwy 26.
We were running late anyway.
Arrived at Jan’s house around 9:00 pm.
(I took the picture the next morning!)
Who’s riding my bike!!
And at the end of the day . . .
